Membership Benefits

The CMSA Board of Directors is pleased to support Special Olympics – Northern & Southern California and the more than 45,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities that they serve. Through this partnership, the CMSA and its membership have the opportunity to utilize one of the most recognizable logos in California and throughout the world as an affiliate sponsor. For information regarding the Special Olympics program, choose either Northern or Southern information from the left menu.
The CMSA's agreement with Special Olympics includes:

  • Volunteering to donate storage for a two year period.
  • Providing moving assistance for the items currently in storage to the CMSA member's facility.
  • Access to stored items 2-3 times per year.
  • An additional, optional item is voluntary transportation of items to specific athletic events (member would receive publicity for that level of support).

Usage of the Special Olympics Northern California and Special Olympics Southern California logo is granted to all members of the CMSA, both movers and associates. Below are links to the approved logos for both Special Olympics Northern and Southern California.
Any use of the Special Olympics logo must be approved by the Special Olympics Program Representative. Once you have downloaded the logo and created the ad, letterhead, or other documents, you must send via email to the appropriate representative for approval. The CMSA logo must also be included within the ad, letterhead, or other documents.
